Happy Dancing (as opposed to angry or befuddled dancing)

It’s been an exciting day around here y’all.

How exciting you ask?

Well, first I found a twenty-dollar bill while I was cleaning/packing.  This was a big deal.  I did my proverbial happy dance and pretended to make it rain with my newfound cash.

THEN, at Starbucks, when I ordered a grande soy hazelnut latte (yeah, I’m one of those people) the guy gave me a venti with no upcharge!  This elicited yet another happy, I’m-about-to-be-SO-caffeinated dance in the middle of the Starbucks.  And, let’s face it, there’s nothing cuter than a rhythm challenged white girl dancing around sloshing her coffee on herself.  NOT.

But sometimes it’s the little things, you know?

Anyhow, it’s been an awesome day so far.  I think Texas is trying to convince me not to leave.

But perhaps the most exciting is that tomorrow I finally get to see my boo and the next morning we take off for California!  Talk about doing a happy dance.  I’m so damn excited that I can barely sit still (the coffee is definitely going to help with that—ha).

I’m pretty much all packed up and ready to go.  I’ve just gotta bake a ton of granola for snacking on during the drive, repaint my toenails, and pack all my last minute stuff.  Pretty difficult, huh?

On a side note, waiting is so frustrating.  This has seriously been the longest two and a half weeks EVER.  This blog is one of the only things keeping me sane.  And watching The Bachelorette with my mum.

But soon I’ll be headed out to LA and I’m probably going to happy dance the entire way.  Maybe I’ll even record it.  But probably not.

But anyway, today has been awesome—hope everyone else is having an equally awesome Wednesday!  Do something that makes you smile, drink some coffee, and count your blessings.  And make sure you dance, even if it’s just a little bit and you look ridiculous.
