Forever in Wonderland
Welcome to Wonderland…a blog brimming with whimsy, art, and
inspiration, and my life! First and foremost thank
you so much for stopping by—I hope you like what you find! This blog is a combination of things I love:
creative writing, fashion, food, running and of course, photography to document
it all. You’ll find short stories,
poetry, unique recipes, and artistic images that I hope inspire
creativity! My hope for Wonderland is that
it will encourage imagination (in whatever form!) in anyone and everyone who
stops by while simultaneously giving me a place to express myself and document my crazy life. I’m so excited to be working
on this and I can’t wait to see where it leads!
My name is Augusta but I go by Gusta, Texas, Tulsa, Blondie,
and occasionally Goose. I’m a 23-year-old southern girl who’s the
writer/photographer/craziness behind this blog.
I graduated from the University of Tulsa in the spring of 2012 with an
English/creative writing major and photography and film minors. My life since then has been a blur — full of
happiness, tears, laughter, heartbreak, self-discovery, spontaneity, and more — but every moment has been an incredible experience. I've been living in Dallas, TX for the last couple of months but am STOKED to announce that I'm about to move to Hollywood, CA. This is a huge adventure I'm about to embark on, and I can’t be sure what Wonderland holds, but I
do know that I’m thrilled to share this journey with you :)
A little more randomness about me: thunderstorms, pink, turquoise,
almond butter and soy milk, almost-a-vegetarian, narwhals, unicorns, old
books of poetry, velvet and lace, taxidermy, typewriters, reminiscing, winter
coats, dessert oatmeal, sea glass, hair bows and stuffed animals, running in
the early morning, baking without a recipe, avocados, saturated colors, deer,
foxes, sweet wine, eccentric furniture, thrift and antique stores, warm
blankets, silliness, hot air balloons, dreams and nightmares, bluebirds,
vintage mirrors, high (super high!) heels, curiosity, kitten ears, talking to
strangers, animal print, coffee coffee coffee, snow skiing, strawberries, costume
parties and costume jewelry, the bizarre...
