Down the Rabbit Hole!

So as you’ve probably noticed, I’m a big fan of Alice in Wonderland (anything by Lewis Carroll really).  And since I graduated, my life has been a sort of wonderland—it's crazy all the changes that have happened since May 2012 (oh my god that’s a year ago—I feel old). 

I’m currently experiencing a huge life change—I recently moved back home to Dallas from a teeny tiny town in Arizona (where I moved right after graduation) and am now about to head out west to(drumroll please)... Hollywood, California!  My life over the past year has been a whirlwind ride—full of joy, love, heart break, whimsy, tears, laughter, amazing surprises, wild nights and lazy days, and new experiences that I will never, ever forget. 

Today, as I write this, I definitely feel as though I’m embarking on a new adventure.  Like Alice, I’m terrified but I’m also beyond excited for this next chapter of my life.

Change can be so scary, but I’m really trying to embrace and learn from it.  As a writer/photographer I always try to use change as inspiration.  Even the hard stuff has been motivational in its own way.

On that note, I’ve finally decided to start this blog (it’s been in the making for a while) to document my wacky, wonderful life and to create a space that’s full of creativity and quirkiness (everything from poetry to running recaps, from bizarre recipes to whatever equally bizarre musings I can’t contain).

Love it or hate it, whether everyone or no one reads this, I’m so excited to have a place to let all my crazy out.  So let’s be crazy together :)
